Established April, 2000, Kamansky’s Ecological Consulting provides environmental, biological and ecological consulting services such as impact assessment, project planning, permitting and project implementation. Striving to find and implement innovative solutions to complex biological and ecological problems, KEC may serve as a project manager or director, contracting, engaging and maintaining the appropriate expertise. Participating in a team of professionals, Kamansky's Ecological Consulting constructs and directly implements plans and permits according to specified schedules. Bobby Kamansky, owner and Principal Biologist, has over fifteen years of biological and ecological experience across a broad range of project complexities, habitats, communities and ecosystems on two continents.
Kamansky's Ecological Consulting has managed several large and small-scale planning, biological assesments and impact studies, research, restoration and management projects on a number of habitats in the Sierra Nevada and San Joaquin Valley, including: coniferous forests, oak woodlands, riparian forests, vernal pools, seasonal marshes and wetlands, grasslands and deserts in California prairie, riparian forest, wetland, alkali sink, Sierran mixed conifer forest, chaparral and foothill woodland ecosystems. Areas of expertise include landscape ecology, planning for endangered species conservation and restoration, natural lands management and restoration, adaptive resource management plans for natural and degraded lands, cartography and information systems, public relations and natural resource interpretation.
